Days Out With The Kids
Tamar Lakes
Just one mile from Eddington Lodge, Tamar Lakes Country Park is a fabulous place to take kids of all ages. Watersports, a great 5km cycle path around the lake and a newly built play park provide plenty of entertainment and the cafe ensures refreshments are never far away! Upper Tamar Lake is also a fantastic fishing lake, stocked with carp for anglers of all competencies.

Bude
Bude is full of things to do for kids. From taking a bucket and spade down to one of the many sandy beaches to rambling alongside Bude Canal, the natural environment lends itself to children. Activites in Bude include pedalo hire, tennis, mini golf, swimming, surfing and bowling among many other things. Venue is the place to go for bowling, soft play and Sky football and Brooks Garden Centre provies a second soft play alternative. The Rebel Cinema offers a lovely cinematic experience.
The Milky Way
The Milky Way is an adventure park suitable for kids of all ages. With a variety of theme park rides both indoors and outdoors and a brilliant soft play centre, you will need the whole day to experience it all. The cafe is excellent as well. RHS Rosemoor
RHS Rosemoor is approximately 30 minutes from Eddington Lodge and comprises beautiful formal and informal gardens with accessible paths and a fantastic cafe. Seasonal activities for both young and old make it a great day out for the whole family!

The Eden Project is a well-known and extremely popular tourist attraction. With two diverse biomes and extensive grounds, as well as many activities for people of all ages it is a great day out.

The Camel Trail
Beginning in Padstow and following a disused railway line past Wadebridge, Bodmin and ending at Wenford Bridge, the Camel Trail showcases the beautiful Cornish countryside and provides endless cycling opportunities for families.

Bodmin and Wenford Railway
Experience 1950s Cornwall at its best on this 13 mile journey in a traditional steam engine. Great fun for kids and adults with a station conveniently situated near the Borough Arms for a spot of lunch!

The Big Sheep
A farm-based amusement park in North Devon, with both indoor and outdoor activites for kids of all ages. Add in an on-site brewery and gin distillery and what's not to like?!!

Air Extreme
A fabulous indoor trampoline park with designated sessions for different age groups. Adults can bounce too and the cafe is fantastic. Highly recommended for a rainy day!
